A Road Trip Quilt - Quilt Along

The Adventure Quilt … a Road Trip Quilt was a 2019 block of the week collaboration between Kate and Tammy Silvers, the creative genius behind Tamarinis. The actual quilt along ran for 12 weeks starting January 29th, 2019. The blog and Instagram project was full of prizes, tips and tricks -

This quilt came from the idea of a road trip across the United States and depicts different aspects of the country.

If you look closely, you can almost see the sights of a trip cross country. There are trees, there are mountains, there are blocks to symbolize the ocean, the sun and the stars along with blocks that represent the various aspects of a road trip – roundabouts, mile markers and roadside blooms.
