Uptick puts a bold, graphic spin on the traditional braid — one of our signature designs — with columns of colorful chevrons marching upward against a rich cobalt background that makes every strip of color pop. The name says it all: this quilt has energy and direction, and it's completely contagious. Best of all, it's a natural for jelly rolls, so if you've got a stack of 2½" strips you've been saving for the right project, this is it.

The scrappier the mix, the better the braid — warm reds and oranges playing off cool teals and purples is just the beginning. Briad piecing keeps construction moving at a satisfying pace, and before you know it those chevrons stack up into something that looks like it took serious skill. It did — yours.
