There are no strangers here, just friends you haven’t met yet!
Celebrate St patrick’s Day all month long with this lucky banner, appliquéd with shamrocks- a symbol of Ireland.
Everyone is Irish on St Patrick's Day!

Banner: 16” x 48”
Banner can be made from three 16” squares mini-quilts or as one long quilt. The mini quilts are tied together with grommets and ribbon for a really fun look.
We appliquéd the shamrocks using the fusible appliqué method- they look great just fused or with some decorative stitching to outline them. We love to add a little blanket stitching. For fusible web, there are lots of great products out there. Steam a Seam 2 Lite is one we like and is readily available in most areas.
Techniques used in this banner include half square triangles and partial seam piecing. Comprehensive directions make this a breeze to put together. The center block has a large white square with 4 white borders- use all white like we did or mix it up with some light greens or yellows. Lots of choices!
